BECOME A K-12 MATH TUTOR!

Slo’Cal Tutors is a Cal Poly club that recruits Cal Poly students that helps and tutors K-12 students in the San Luis Obispo area. We currently have a few tutors helping students at a few schools in the SLO school district, and we would like to attract more tutors by reaching out to the everyone in the Statistics Department. Since our mission is to promote STEM-based learning, we believe this would be an amazing opportunity for Cal Poly STEM majors to gain volunteer hours and leadership experience in their "slocal" community. Especially considering that most of what we tutor is math, we think that this would be an amazing Learn-By-Doing experience for any Statistics major.
