Registration/Abstract Submission Deadline: Monday, April 15^th by 5:00pm

Posters due for printing: Monday, May 6^th by 8:00am

Conference: Thursday May 16^th & Friday May 17^th

Students can choose to present a poster or a talk.  More information is on the website, including guidelines and sample abstracts.

Theory and Foundations of Statistics in the Era of Big Data Conference

The Department of Statistics, Florida State University, in coordination with the International Indian Statistical Association (IISA), is proud to hold a conference to bring together present-day statistical and data science innovators and senior leaders with emerging young researchers to identify, discuss and direct solutions of the foundational issues and challenges faced by modern-day statistics and data science.

Pioneering Statisticians' Centenary Celebration

The conference also celebrates and honors the foundational and pioneering contributions of two statistical stalwarts, Debabrata Basu and Raghu Raj Bahadur, on their birth centenary. 

The Theory and Foundations of Statistics in the Era of Big Data Conference will be held in Tallahassee, FL  April 19-21st.
