21st Annual CSM Student Research Conference

Registration is open for the 21st Annual CSM Student Research Conference. As usual we will have poster sessions, oral presentations, and this year an expanded networking and mentoring lunch for students to meet with CSM alumni and other professionals. Please join us in highlighting the amazing research students do in the College of Science and Mathematics!

Key dates: 

Registration/Abstract Submission Deadline: Monday, April 17th by 5:00pm

Posters due for printing: Monday, May 8th by 9:00am

Conference: Thursday, May 18th and Friday, May 19th

Students can choose to present a poster or a talk.  More information is on the website, including guidelines and sample abstracts.

Your artwork can be chosen to represent the CSM Research Conference!  Artwork may be submitted to the contest for t-shirts, advertising, or both.

Holistic Wellbeing Workshop

 

PULSE, Cal Poly’s peer health education program, is hosting a brand-new Holistic Well-being Workshop this spring. This workshop series that is geared to guide students through breathwork; explore vulnerability and openness with yourself and others; support with finding your boundaries; and an opportunity to cultivate a sense of calm in your life. 

 

The Holistic Well-being Workshop series is a student-run program that has been created in collaboration with professional staff at Campus Health & Wellbeing and is an educational program to share tools (mentally and physically) to cultivate awareness and goals around well-being. This is not a workshop run by Counseling  Services. 

In our 5-week program series, students will build community, eat free food, journal, and dive deep into the topics of Building Vulnerability, Discovering Identities, Noticing Your Relationships, Knowing Your Spaces and Limits, and The Wrap-up.

SCASA Virtual Job Fair - Data Science

 SCASA is hosting its annual Virtual Job Fair on Friday, March 24th from 11 AM to 2 PM. The Virtual Job Fair will connect employers with members of the Southern California statistics, data science and analytics communities who are interested in new opportunities. This event is free to graduating students!
