Want to you use your powers to help improve STEM education? I'm looking
for 1-2 dedicated students for paid positions
to help with data analysis for some NSF funded research projects!
Responsibilities include processing and sanitizing survey data, running
multivariable regression models, and identifying statistically
significant differences between data sets taken at different
times. The underlying projects are designed to help tease out the
effects of mental wellness on retention in engineering and computer
undergrads, and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on student mental
health; so passion for mental wellness is a plus. Desired
qualifications include: experience with R and popular R packages
(including ggplot2), logistic regressions, good written and verbal
communication skills, able to show proof of work eligibility to Cal Poly
Corporation. Undergrads and Grad students are eligible.
