I'm pleased to share that the application for admission to the blended M.S. in Statistics is now open at this link: https://forms.office.com/r/VzTwRpckhW
You can preview all the questions on the first page of the form, so I strongly recommend writing these somewhere else first and then copying them in when you are ready to apply. Note also that you are not asked for any letters of recommendation; only the names of two Cal Poly Stat faculty who are aware we may contact them for further information and recommendation.
Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2025 to receive full consideration.
Please note also that this is last year where the primary application cycle is targeted for current 4th years. If you are a current 3rd year (or equivalent), you should apply now; waiting to apply until next year will drastically decrease your chances of admission. Applying, and being accepted, does not commit you to the program - if admitted, you will still be able to consider other graduate programs or career options during your 4th year if you choose.
Finally, I simply want to mention that we are uniquely blessed in the Stat department with a group of incredibly high-quality major students. This blessing becomes a bit of a curse during MS admissions season, because we simply do not have the class and faculty capacity to admit every deserving student. Please know that we believe in every one of you, and we are here to support your success in your next steps, even if we aren't able to offer to you a spot in the blended degree.
