The San Francisco Health practice of Milliman provides actuarial and consulting services to a broad range of clients including insurance companies, healthcare providers, and government agencies. Our services include product design and pricing, valuation, benchmarking analyses, provider reimbursement analyses, and model development. We are seeking an analyst to assist with actuarial modeling and analyses. Flexible start date in Summer 2021.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze healthcare cost and utilization data
- Develop actuarial models to analyze and summarize data
- Draft reports and client correspondence
- Assist with research projects
- Pursue actuarial credentials
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0 - 3 years of work experience
- Completion of one or more Society of Actuaries exams
- GPA of 3.0 or better
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAS
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
