Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Software Application Tester to work part time in our San Luis Obispo, CA location. As a Software Application Tester you will perform independent verification & validation of requirements by creating, running, and evaluating manual and automated tests. You will document defects and confirm their resolution.
Essential Functions:
- Supports the development of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the creation and execution of test cases to verify software performance and function and identify and document defects.
- Collects, inputs, and analyzes data for software metrics of limited scope and complexity using established procedures.
- Uses software tools to troubleshoot problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education or work experience in software testing
Typical Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
- Enrolled in higher education or 1 year of equivalent experience.
