Data Science Undergraduate Research Pathways (DSURP) is a new program at Stanford that will take place this summer. It provides an opportunity for students without easy access to research at their home institutions to be paired with a mentor and faculty member to conduct research in data science over 8 weeks during the summer at Stanford. Participating students will also meet other undergraduate research peers, have the opportunity to attend research seminars, and present their work at the end of summer quarter session.
Students selected to participate in the program will receive a stipend of $6000.
The program is 8 weeks long from June 24–August 16, and applications are due by 11:59pm PST on March 3, 2024. We especially encourage students from non-R1 institutions to apply, and such students will receive priority selection.
