The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Internship Program is excited to announce the opening of the application window for the 2025 Fall Internship Cohort! Applications are now open and will close on Friday, May 2, 2025.

The 2025 Fall Internship Cohort Details
- Applications open until Friday, May 2, 2025
- Cohort Dates: September 3 to December 12, 2025
- Interns receive hands-on experience working with the largest public health organization in the state.
- Remote, hybrid, and onsite opportunities are available. Onsite placements are only available at our Richmond and Sacramento locations.
- Students studying Public Health, Data and Informatics, Information Technologies, Communications, Health Education, and other supporting fields are encouraged to apply.
- Interns are paid between $18 and $21 per hour and work between 18 to 29 hours per week.
- Paid interns must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. DACA and International students are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an affiliated college or university and reside in California throughout the duration of the internship.
- Priority is given to college seniors and juniors, masters candidates, and transferring junior college students.
