RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY:
Do you want to do research on vaccination for equity? The NSF-awarded IHBEM-MAVEN project will allow you to do so and will help you present your work at national conferences, with all the expenses paid and a personal stipend of at least $1,000 and, potentially, more than $2,000, for your efforts. Students with a solid foundation in mathematics, medical sciences, applied math, statistics or data science, game theory or affiliated disciplines are encouraged to contact Professor Alvarez at guillermo_alvarezpar@cuesta.edu for more information about it. The research will initiate under the umbrella of Math 290: Introduction to Research at Cuesta College, starting on September 27, 2023.
