The Federal Reserve Board is currently looking for a summer intern. This opportunity was shared by a recent Cal Poly Stats graduate who had an internship there!
They are interested in students with a background in Statistics or data analysis. This could be a great fit for Stats majors who are curious about careers in the financial sector or economic policy.
One important note: applicants must be planning to return to school after the summer.
About the Team
The Supervisory Oversight function consisting of the LISCC Oversight (LOS) and Reserve Bank Oversight (RBOS) sections is responsible for the oversight of the Federal Reserve System’s supervision programs. LOS independently assesses the effectiveness of the LISCC supervisory program on an annual basis, through continuous monitoring (CM), as well as risk-focused, point-in-time reviews to ensure that LISCC personnel exercise sound supervisory judgment and operate the program in accordance with System and program guidance. RBOS is primarily responsible for coordinating Board staff execution of the Reserve Bank oversight program that results in the annual assessment of each Reserve Bank’s supervision program.
